Our immune system is very intertwined

with our emotional state. To optimize the immune system, we need to heal our emotions.   While not everyone is open to emotional guidance therapies, it is highly encouraged for those who have the following:

  • stress-related auto-immune disease
  • fear regarding a life-threatening illness
  • a history of trauma still causing flashbacks
  • simply being exhausted from working too hard

While traditional counselors are trained to listen and validate negative emotions, Dr Doughty takes an entirely different approach.  I love to help patients to explore their choice of emotions. As they do, I guide them to reframe their flashbacks which heps them to find peaceful resolution so they no longer have trauma associated with these memories.   Once in a more peaceful emotional state, it’s easier to heal and to find resolution to the other stressors in life.
